Mitradhara Foundation aims to handle donations and payment-related requests responsibly and transparently. This policy explains how we review requests relating to donations made through mitradhara.in.
1. Purpose of Donations
Donations are voluntary contributions intended to support the charitable purposes described in the relevant campaign or donation information.
Please review the campaign details, donation amount and payment information carefully before completing your contribution.
2. General Refund Policy
Because donations support charitable activities, a successfully processed donation is not automatically refundable simply because a donor changes their mind.
However, we understand that duplicate transactions, payment errors and other exceptional circumstances may occur. You may submit a request for review.
Each request will be considered based on the circumstances, the relevant campaign terms, payment provider procedures and applicable law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove any refund right or other protection that is mandatory under applicable law.
3. Duplicate Donations
If you believe that the same donation was charged more than once, please contact us as soon as possible.
Provide the transaction references, dates and amounts so that we can compare the records and investigate the issue.
If a duplicate payment is confirmed, we will review the appropriate resolution and coordinate with the relevant payment provider where necessary.
4. Incorrect Donation Amount or Payment Made in Error
If you entered an incorrect donation amount or believe that a payment was made by mistake, please contact us promptly.
Provide the transaction details and explain the issue. We will review the available information and determine whether a correction or refund is appropriate under the circumstances and applicable requirements.
Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee a refund.
5. Failed or Pending Transactions
If money has been debited from your bank account but your donation is not confirmed on our website, the transaction may still be pending or may have failed during processing.
Please check your bank or payment application for the transaction status.
If the issue remains unresolved, contact us with the transaction reference, payment date, amount and payment method.
Some failed transactions may be reversed automatically by the bank or payment provider. The processing time depends on the provider and the circumstances of the transaction.
6. How to Submit a Refund Request
Please email kumarhari80@gmail.com with the subject line Donation Refund Request.
Include the following information where available:
Your name.
Your contact mobile number.
Your email address.
The donation date and amount.
The transaction reference or payment identification number.
The payment method used.
A brief explanation of the issue and the resolution requested.
Please do not send your UPI PIN, banking password, card PIN, CVV or other confidential banking credentials.
We may request reasonable additional information to verify the transaction.
7. Review and Verification
We will review the information provided and may check the relevant donation records or contact the payment provider.
The time required for review depends on the nature of the issue and the availability of transaction information. Please retain your payment confirmation until the matter is resolved.
8. Approved Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed through the original payment method where supported and subject to the payment provider's procedures.
The time taken for the funds to appear in your account depends on the bank or payment provider. We cannot guarantee an exact credit date where processing is controlled by a third party.
9. Campaign Changes or Cancellation
If a donation campaign changes, is delayed or cannot proceed as originally described, the Foundation will review the circumstances and handle the funds in accordance with applicable law, the stated campaign terms and its charitable objectives.
A campaign change does not automatically guarantee a refund. Any additional campaign-specific conditions should be read together with this policy, subject to applicable law.
10. Payment Provider Disputes
If a payment issue relates to a bank, UPI application or payment gateway, we may need to coordinate with that provider.
You may also contact your bank or payment provider through its official support channels. Never share your UPI PIN or banking passwords with anyone claiming to help with a refund.
